SESSION LXXXIII
ABOUT THIS SESSION
SESSION 83 of the trial of Adolf Eichmann took place in the morning of Friday, June 30, 1961. In this session, Defense Counsel Dr. Robert Servatius continues his direct examination of Eichmann, which began in SESSION 75. Topics discussed include Eichmann’s actions in regard to the Jews of Holland, Belgium, Denmark, Norway, Serbia, Croatia and Greece. A sworn statement by Nazi Franz Rademacher is submitted in which Rademacher recalls a phone conversation in which Eichmann suggested shooting Serbian Jews in Sabac in lieu of deporting them. Eichmann vehemently denies having said any such thing.
Although some of the footage from SESSION 83 has been lost, most of it survives among the almost three hours presented here. There is no audio during a portion of the recess.
