SESSION LXXX
ABOUT THIS SESSION
SESSION 80 of the trial of Adolf Eichmann took place in the morning of Tuesday, June 27, 1961. In this session, Defense Counsel Dr. Robert Servatius continues his direct examination of Eichmann, which began in SESSION 75. Topics discussed include: the fate of the children of Lidice; the Nazi chain-of-command; relocation in the Zamosc area; the seizure of a sanatorium for use as a Lebensborn home; the Gestapo and police authorities; deportations of Jews; issues involving Jews of foreign nationality; and the proposed evacuation of Jews to Israel.
Although most of the footage from SESSION 80 has been lost, the approximately one hour of surviving material is presented here. Much of the first 12-13 minutes suffers from a loud hum in the audio that can make speech difficult to hear. Nonetheless, dialogue can be followed using the subtitles.
