SESSION LXXVI
ABOUT THIS SESSION
SESSION 76 of the trial of Adolf Eichmann took place in the morning of Wednesday, June 21, 1961. In this session, Defense Counsel Dr. Robert Servatius continues his direct examination of Eichmann, which began in SESSION 75. Most of the testimony concerns the organization and hierarchy of SS departments and their leadership, with Eichmann attempting to use documentation to prove that his department was not involved in the extermination program.
Although much of the footage from SESSION 76 has been lost, the approximately seventy minutes of surviving material is presented here. A few sections survive only via contemporaneous news broadcasts, and contain minor edits and added graphics by the broadcaster. Some audio in this session is degraded and can be difficult to hear at times. Dialogue in these sections can still be followed using the subtitles.
