SESSION LXVII
ABOUT THIS SESSION
SESSION 67 of the trial of Adolf Eichmann took place in the afternoon of Tuesday, June 6, 1961. The session begins with the submission of documents by the prosecution into evidence on the Treblinka death camp, a topic introduced that morning in SESSION 66. The prosecution then turns to the Belzec camp, submitting a number of related documents. Next David Wdowinski testifies about his time in the Budzyn camp. He recalls being told that Budzyn was kept open in spite of Eichmann’s wishes, and that Eichmann had once inspected a gas oven at Sobibor alongside Himmler. Wdowinski’s testimony continues through the end of the session, when the Presiding Judge becomes frustrated with the irrelevance of some of his digressions.
Although the majority of SESSION 67 has been lost, the approximately 30 minutes of surviving footage—all from Wdowinski’s testimony—is presented here.
