SESSION LX

ABOUT THIS SESSION

SESSION 60 of the trial of Adolf Eichmann took place in the afternoon of Wednesday, May 31, 1961. The session begins with the resumption of the submission of documentation on Nazi activity in Hungary, a process interrupted by a protestor in the audience at the end of SESSION 59. Moshe Rosenberg (not to be confused with earlier witness Adolf Rosenberg), a former Jewish community leader in Budapest, testifies about his work on the Relief and Rescue Committee there. He is cross-examined by Defense Counsel Dr. Robert Servatius and the judges. After his testimony concludes, further documents on Hungary are submitted, taking up the remainder of the session.

The vast majority of SESSION 60 has been lost. The roughly twenty minutes of surviving footage are presented here.
