ABOUT THIS SESSION
SESSION 34 of the trial of Adolf Eichmann took place in the morning of Wednesday, May 10, 1961. It begins with the submission of documents into evidence by the Assistant Prosecutor Gabriel Bach regarding Nazi activity in Belgium. Dr. Joseph Melkman, a Holocaust survivor and former director of Yad Vashem, then testifies in regard to the Nazi invasion of Holland. After the judges render a decision admitting the affidavit of a Belgian citizen on the persecution of Belgian Jews, the affidavit is read into evidence and additional documents on Belgium and Holland are submitted.
The majority of the footage from SESSION 34 has been lost. The roughly 30 minutes of surviving footage are presented here.
