SESSION XXVIII
ABOUT THIS SESSION
SESSION 28 of the trial of Adolf Eichmann took place in the afternoon of Thursday, May 4, 1961. The session begins with the testimony of Avraham Karasik in regard to the Jews of Bialystok and the underground resistance there. He recalls his deportation to a camp in Augustov and his work in the Sonderkommando. After his testimony, the prosecution submits several documents into evidence. Dr. Aharon Peretz testifies next, describing life in the Kovno ghetto. Additional documents are then submitted into evidence before the Court adjourns for the day.
A great deal of footage from SESSION 28 has been lost, including the entirety of Karasik’s testimony. The surviving footage is presented here.
